Dr. Catherine Costlow grew up in Pennsylvania and earned her undergraduate degrees in Marine Science and Biology from Coastal Carolina University.
She later attended St. George’s University, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and completed her clinical training at the University of Georgia. Her background includes sea turtle research and medicine, along with experience in exotic and aquarium medicine involving a diverse range of species.
Dr. Costlow’s professional interests include dermatology, with a particular interest in chronic allergy management, feline medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She values strong client communication and enjoys working closely with pet owners to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Costlow enjoys reading, running, scuba diving, and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Benji, and her two cats, Penny and Muffin.
