COVID-19 Update

iStock-1137880624 Clairmont Animal Hospital has provided advanced medical and surgical care
to the Decatur and surrounding Atlanta area for almost thirty years. We
are working diligently to be able to continue to provide veterinary care to
the community during this COVID-19 outbreak.

We understand that you may feel concerned with recent news with regards to
coronavirus (COVID-19). We want to assure you that we are committed to
protecting our Team, patients, and wider community. At this time, Clairmont
Animal Hospital remains open and is operating under regular business hours.

*Beginning Wednesday, March 18th to best ensure everyone’s safety and in an
effort to promote recommended social distancing, we are asking that clients
refrain from entering the hospital. We are asking that you call us when
you arrive.* Upon arrival, a Team Member will come outside near the front
of the building and call your name. Our Team Members will bring your pet
inside. Please make sure your pet is secured on a leash or in a carrier.
This includes regularly scheduled appointments, surgeries, medication
refills, pickup, drop offs and boarding.

*If your pet is seeing one of our Veterinarians, our Team Members will come
outside to get your pet and bring them into the building. The Doctor will
then call your cell phone to discuss concerns and provide a treatment plan
before bringing the pet back outside to you. We will utilize voice and/or
video dialogue with you during your pet’s visit. Upon completion of the
visit, payment will be taken over the phone with our Reception Team.

We are taking necessary precautions and recommendations from the CDC and
WHO in order to help minimize potential exposure for our Team and Clients
while still providing the best veterinary medicine for your pets.

We are closely following the COVID-19 situation as it evolves.

We will continue to keep you informed via our website, Facebook and email.

We look forward to continuing to serve our patients and community by
providing our exceptional Veterinary care in a safe environment.
