- Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Sunday: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
What to Expect
Your first visit to Clairmont Animal Hospital establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you and your pet. During this visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, such as your pet’s medical history, while also giving you time to get to know your veterinarian.
New Client Forms
To save some time at your first visit, please print and complete the following patient forms in advance of your appointment.
- New client/patient information form
- Risk assessment form—This will help us develop an immunization program that fits your pet’s individual lifestyle
Our patients are seen in the following order: emergencies, appointments, walk-ins. We will do our best to honor your appointment time; however, if there is a patient involved in an emergency situation, we must address the needs of that patient first.
Walk-ins are certainly welcome, but please be advised that in some cases there may be an additional fee for urgent care.
If you are dropping off your pet for the day for medical care or a surgical procedure, we ask that you arrive no later than 9 a.m. This allows the staff and veterinarians to assess your pet’s needs and begin medical care/treatment more quickly.
We provide emergency care during normal business hours and have a veterinarian on call until 10 p.m. to answer any questions you may have regarding your pet’s emergency or urgent care needs. For more information on emergency care, please visit our emergencies page .
All payments are due at the time of service. We do not provide payment plans or arrangements. Fees for follow-up visits are not included in most initial procedures and will be billed separately as services are rendered. We accept the following forms of payment with proper identification:
- Wells Fargo Health Advantage credit card, which offers third-party payment plans to qualified applicants
- Credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover
- Pet insurance
In the event that your pet needs hospitalization, you may be asked to leave a partial deposit. The initial deposit will include the office visit plus half of the estimated cost of treatment. The balance is due upon completion of services. The full fee is required at the time of discharge.
